FEST CAMP July 26-29 and August 2-5

Join us for two weeks of BAND CAMP like you've never seen. Students (ages 9-18) will work in collaboration with each other and their teachers to develop four unique bands. Each band will perform two songs on stage for our camp recital at Musikfest. Camp takes place July 26-29 & August 2-5 from 10am to 1pm at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts. Space is limited and students must meet specific prerequisites or have a recommendation from their teacher to attend. Each day of camp will include vocal instruction and warm-ups, guest speakers and one-on-one time with our staff of musician teachers. Fest Camp cost is $275 per person, $225 for currently enrolled students at The Lesson Center. |

Learn to play the Ukulele in six weeks. Our instructor Nick Roberti (The Ukulele Institute) will take you from an introduction of this unique little instrument to playing complete songs over the course of six 1.5 hour sessions.

Taught by the Lehigh Valley's premier jazz bassist, Brian Bortz. This class is designed for up to 5 students simultaneously, in a hands-on, interactive setting. The sessions will last one and-a-half hours weekly, with a focus on expanding your thinking and ability as a bassist. This will be for intermediate to advanced players only, as we will be moving quickly to broaden our horizons. If you are a young professional, weekend warrior or experienced player looking to grow, this could be the right opportunity for you!

Adult Drama June 2010

No, this isn't group therapy! This course, taught my regional actor, Gene Connelly, is designed to assist adult (age 18+) actors in preparation for auditions in regional, off-Broadway, Broadway and commercial televison/film. Participants will work on monologues and improvisations - both instructor and self provided. An organic course that will grow and develop out of the comibned participants desire to learn.
